The chief Executive is an individual who works on the direction of Directors and manages the whole management of the company .He may or may not be a Director and may have different titles or designation in a company E.g Managing Director etc.
According to Section 2(14) of the Companies Act , 2017 the Chief Executive In relation to the company means an individual who is subject to the control and directions of Directors.He manages the whole or substantially powers of the management of affairs of Company and he may be a director or not .
