Annual General Meeting is a regular meeting of members of company which is held annually . In this meeting ,the Directors present the annual report.During Annual General Meeting , a company’s performance is analyzed and it’s future strategy is also discussed.It is an open meeting of shareholders in which they can question the Directors and can also suggest various measures to solve tha problems of the company.
Relevant Provisions:
Sections 132 and 134 of the Companies Act,2017 deals with the Annual General Meeting and it’s working.
Place of A.G.M:
An Annual General Meeting shall be held in the registered office of the Company,in case of listed Company.
Objects of A.G.M:
Members of the company personally or through video link in the meeting and the chairman of the Board shall preside the meeting.

- Financial Statements
- Reports by Board and Auditors
- Declaration of profit
- Election and appointment of the Directors,in the place of those who are retiring
- Appointments of Auditors
